Frequently Asked Questions

Questions & Answers

Common questions we often answer

Are bedsheets and towels included?

Yes, bedsheets and towels are included.

What is the bathroom situation?

In the main guesthouse (the Eco House or Kretsloppshus), there is one shared bathroom with a shower in the hallway next to the bedrooms. There is also a shared toilet on the ground floor.

In the small Baker's Cabin (Bagarstugan), there is no running water nor toilet. You can either use the outside toilet (dass) 30 meters away, or you can use the shared bathrooms in the main guesthouse. We do ask people staying in the Baker's Cabin to not use the showers between 7-10am as there is a lot of shower traffic in the guesthouse at this time.

Can I charge my electric car?

We have a normal power outlet available at the parking spot closest to the guest house. If you have a converter you are welcome to charge your car.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel up to 24 hours before your stay. After that you will be charged.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is preferrably between 4pm-6pm. If you arrive before/after that and it's not a problem, just let us know so that we can coordinate accordingly.

Check-out is 10am. You're welcome to hang out and have a cup of coffee after that, but the bedrooms should be ready for cleaning at 10am.

Do you serve food and drink at Allsta Gård?

Vad våra gäster har sagt om Allsta Gård

Extremely cozy and peaceful atmosphere. Alex and Jana were amazing hosts, and were helpful, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. The included breakfast was delicious and we were also offered a three course dinner in the evening by Jana, who is an outstanding cook! Both meals blew us away and were prepared with fresh ingredients from their garden. The bed was very comfortable and all facilities fresh and clean. The whole place was clearly designed with a lot of thought, care, and style. We especially recommend this place to those looking to visit the nearby High Coast Distillery, which was what brought us to the area. We feel like we lucked out finding such a gem as Allsta Gård, and couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Fantastic coffee and a crackling fire in an incredibly beautiful modern house built with post and beam construction and clay. I bought some rustic sourdough bread to take home and will return. Child-friendly.

Comfortable B&B with a lot of nature (we spotted twelve moose during the 24 hours we were there). The hosts are prepared to walk the extra mile for their guests. I don’t hesitate to recommend this to people who are visiting the area and need a place to stay.

Allsta Gård is a real gem in a fabulously beautiful landscape. The owners gave an incredibly nice welcome and we felt really welcome. We got to taste the world's best buns and sourdough bread - absolutely unbeatable! We also bought eggs, celery, cabbage, garlic and aronia berries. Everything tasted fantastic, fresh and something completely out of the ordinary. Allsta Gård is a place we highly recommend and will definitely return to.
